A Bit About Me
I am a communications specialist with extensive experience in media and the workforce. As a POSSE Scholar (a full-tuition, merit-based scholarship program for students with strong leadership potential and academic promise), I have proven qualities in leadership that have transferred through numerous executive organizational roles, including as Editor-in-Chief of OutCrowd Magazine, an LGBTQ+-focused magazine, and lead news producer for The NewsHouse, a multimedia news site for Syracuse University.
In addition to these roles, I have plenty of workforce and publication experience, including interning at ideas42, producing content for USA Today, and writing numerous award-winning stories for The NewsHouse.
I aim to use my accumulated skills and expertise in writing, editing, project, and team management within communication-related fields to produce work that can inspire change and enlighten the world.
